Rope Climb, Ring Dips, Squats

This was today's WOD from the mainsite. I do not have a 15 foot Rope, or Rings, so I had to modify a little. The Workout:

Three rounds for time of: Porch Scaling
3 Ascents of a 15' rope (subbed 5 to 1 neutral grip pullups)
15 Ring dips (Subbed 3 to 1 parallette dips)
35 Squats

Time: 9:40

Just wish I had the right equipments for this one. I need to make some rings.

    I workout at the Globo YMCA in Sewickley. It is outside of the City. Where are you going to be in Pittsburgh? Downtown? One of the Suburbs?

  3. I'll be in Squirrel Hill staying with my bro... do they have a lot of free weights? (I'm on a SS circuit currently)

  4. I don't know if it is easier to answer here or on your blog, but . . .

    If you are in the Squirrel Hill, the best bet is the Squirrel Hill Jewish Community Center. It has a nice free weight room. Not a ton of space, but nice racks and a lot of dumbbells.

    You can google Crossfit Pittsburgh. It is north of the city, out route 28. I think it will be a pain in the ass to get there, and I am not sure if they have Sunday hours.

    The Sewickley YMCA has a decent free weight room, but is about 45 minutes away from you.
