About Me

I was born in Parkersburg, WV, and grew up all over the tri-state area of WV, OH, and PA. While growing up, my family often visited Pittsburgh, and I knew from a young age that I wanted to live here someday. When I had the opportunity to come to the area in 2005, I did not pass it up. After a short time away from the city for Law School, I have returned and currently work as an associate at James M. Herb and Associates.

I am a 2009 graduate from the West Virginia University College of Law. There, I received special awards and honors for my abilities in oral advocacy, participated in in-house trial advocacy competitions, and competed on the Lugar Trial Association Traveling Trial Team. I developed my passion for representing those accused of crimes during an internship with the West Virginia Public Defenders Office in Harrison County, WV. My base of experience also includes assisting Professors in advanced legal studies and the representation of indigent clients through the WVU Clinical Law Program.

Since graduating and receiving my license, I have continued to gain experience in successfully representing clients through Morrow and Artim, P.C. I have appeared in all Commonwealth Courts and the Federal Bankruptcy Court in various steps of the legal process, including Preliminary Hearings, Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition, Phoenix Court, Arbitration, Child Support Hearings, Motions Court, and Trials. I take great pride in my ability to learn from the past and use what worked for the future. Unlike some attorneys, I am not afraid of the courtroom and will do what is necessary to provide you with the best possible advocacy.

Outside of the office, I am highly active in my community and like to spend time visiting and supporting the various Crossfit Affiliates around the Greater Pittsburgh Area. A healthy life style is a passion of mine and I believe that the strong mind and body I achieve from overcoming physical challenges gives me the stamina to work harder and longer in my legal career.
